 Pioneer Memorial to host “Are Food Labels Confusing?  The Facts About How Your Food Supply is Raised” class

VIBORG, SD: In honor of Health Care Week, Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services will be holding a class “Are Food Labels Confusing? The Facts About How your Food Supply is Raised”, by Charlotte Rommereim, Registered Dietitian. 

The class will be held Tuesday, May 15th at 2:30 in the Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home Resident Dining Room in Viborg, and is open to the public. 

Do you find food and nutrition labels to be very confusing when you go through the grocery store? You are not alone!  Is it organic, natural, fat-free, non GMO?  Food labels include a bounty of terms that should provide clarity but often dish up confusion. Join us to hear from our Registered Dietitian on how to make navigating through the grocery store easier and ease your confusion on food labels and how your food is raised.
