Grace Tidball retires from Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services

Grace Tidball, Director of Ambulatory Operations at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services retired on July 6th.  Grace worked in health care for the past 46 years, and spent her last 21 years at Pioneer Memorial in Viborg.  As an RN, and holding a Master’s Degree in Administration, she held many roles in her position.  While working at Pioneer Memorial, she was the Administrator of the 3 clinics – Viborg, Parker, and Centerville; as well as the former Centerville Community Pharmacy.  She also was the Administrator over the Health Information, Laboratory, Radiology, Therapy, and Patient Financial Services Departments.  Grace has served as project director for numerous projects over the years, including chairperson for Pioneer Memorial’s Turner County Fair committee.

Grace’s dedication to Pioneer Memorial & Health Services has been exemplified by her caring and passionate relationship she has with the medical staff.  She has always been willing to go the extra mile to help anyone and always has the staff’s best interests in mind.  She has a big heart for everything she does!

When asked about her retirement, Grace commented:  “I thank Pioneer Memorial for giving me the opportunity to work here over the past 21 years.  I have gained a lot of knowledge whether it was in the clinic, pharmacy, hospital, or nursing home areas.  The hardest part in retiring is leaving the people that I worked with.  Pioneer Memorial has a great staff of workers and is certainly a family friendly environment.  I don’t know what God has planned for the next chapter in my life but I am sure it will include some relaxation, enjoying family, traveling and volunteering at my church and, of course, keeping up with the Minnesota Vikings!”

Tonya Rudd MS RN has transitioned into the role of Clinic Director for Pioneer Memorial & Health Services.  We wish Grace all the best as she starts a new chapter in her life and thank her for her years of service to health care and to Pioneer Memorial!
