$350,000 campaign for new pharmacy in Centerville.
Fundraiser planned for Sunday, August 30, 2009The new faciility will increase pharmacy space from its current 196 square feet to 3,755 square feet including retail space for cards, gifts and increased medical supplies, a community meeting room, an office for private consults about prescriptions, and plenty of room to prepare prescriptions.

A pharmacy has been part of Centerville's downtown since 1883. The new larger pharmacy will provide:
- Additional over-the-counter medications, retail items, herbal selections, gifts and cards providing greater convenience for local and area shoppers
- Space for greater privacy to consult with the pharmacist on medication and prescription concerns
- Support for ongoing and future pharmaceutical needs of the Centerville Medical Clinic, Good Samaritan Nursing Home and Centerville community.
- Space for community organizations and groups to meet
- Economic benefits for the local community
