There will be a Community Blood Bank at the Viborg Community Center on Wednesday, August 5th from 10am-1pm & 2:30pm-5pm. 100% of donations come back to our community!
Giving blood is essential to the public health during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic! With no known end date in this fight against coronavirus, our community needs the help of blood donors to meet the needs of patient care. The Community Blood Bank has implemented many additional precautionary measures during this time.
All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients in our community. A blood donor card or driver’s license or 2 other forms of I.D. are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Make sure you eat a good meal prior to donating and drink plenty of water!
