The Pioneer Memorial Foundation is excited to announce the selection of Kayla Andersen as the student to receive the Health Care Careers Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Kayla plans to attend Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls, majoring in Surgical Technology. Kayla was chosen based upon her academic record, participation in school and community activities, and her educational plans to complete her degree in health care.
The Pioneer Memorial Foundation has developed a scholarship program to assist students who are pursuing or planning to pursue a health care degree at a post-secondary two or four year college, university or vocational-technical program. The scholarship is available on a yearly basis for full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution the student chooses.
