Sherry Oswald, Resident Assistant for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, has been named as the March Employee of the Month. Sherry started working at Pioneer Memorial in July 2016.
In Sherry’s role, she is responsible for assisting residents at Pioneer Inn with their daily activities. She administers medications, serves breakfast and noon meals and assisting residents with cleaning and laundry or just being there for them!
Sherry lives just outside of Viborg. She has 2 children; Cody Oswald and his wife Tina and their daughter Aria, and son Chad Oswald. She also has a border collie, Buddy!
In her spare time, Sherry enjoys spending time listening to music, vintage tractors and tractor drives, rummage sales, riding ATV’s/4-wheelers, history, yard work, fixing meals for family, family gatherings and trips.
Those who nominated Sherry for this award described her as a Ray of Sunshine! Her energy is so heartwarming. She is such a spirit raiser for residents and co-workers. Sherry’s enthusiasm and compassion are evident in all aspects of her job, and all interactions with residents and co-workers. Sherry is a great asset for Pioneer Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
When asked what she thought of the award Sherry Oswald stated, “I appreciate this award! I have lived in the Viborg area all my life and feel very privileged to work at Pioneer Inn. They’re such a great generation of people. I love them, they’re like family; thank you!!”
