Kaity Rolschau, Director of Social Services for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, has been named as the September Employee of the Month. Kaity started working with Pioneer Memorial January 2022.
In Kaity’s role, she is responsible for reviewing new admissions, application & referrals for long term care. She also assists residents/patients with psychosocial decision making. Also, helps organize and facilitate discharge planning. She also oversees hospital, clinic patients, and long term care resident’s well-being.
Kaity currently lives in Centerville, SD with her fiancé Lee, stepson Hayden (4), dog Desi and cat Peyton.
In her spare time, Kaity loves spending time hiking and being outdoors, along with reading, watching movies and spending time with family.
Those who nominated Kaity said she is a wonderful addition to the team. She provides excellent care for the residents and has worked very hard to develop great relationships throughout Pioneer Memorial. Families compliment her personal connections with themselves and with the residents. Kaity also does an amazing job with discharged planning for our patients.
