Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services is pleased to announce the hiring of Stacy Wachholtz, FNP-BC. Stacy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Dakota in 2017 and her Master of Science in Nursing at Morningside University in 2022. During her career, she has worked in several specialties including Cardiology, ICU and Acute Care. Stacy is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basis Life Support (BLS).
Stacy grew up in Centerville, SD and currently resides in Sioux Falls with her husband, Chance, and their adorable corgi named Benji. While not working, Stacy enjoys playing cards with her family, working on home renovations, taking spontaneous trips with her husband, and occasionally binging a good reality tv series.
Stacy stated: “I am excited to be back in a small town that is community focused. Being able to build relationships with patients I am serving is something that is important to me, and I look forward to meeting everyone and being a part of this community.”
