Thanks to the Helmsley Charitable Trust, digital radiology is on the move like never before at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services! The grant received at Pioneer Memorial has made it possible to upgrade their existing radiology equipment to the highest quality imaging technology possible.
With the Mobile X-ray System, the Radiologic Technologists can bring the imaging to the patient, quickly and easily - wherever it is needed. The new device provides clearer, more effective images easier to share and store with 75% less radiation exposure for our patients and staff.
The Radiology Department at Pioneer Memorial will also be receiving a new digital X-ray room within the next several months.
