Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home has again received a Five-Star Quality Rating, the highest rating possible, from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS’s 5-Star rating system was introduced to provide information to help consumers choose a nursing home in their area, and to help nursing homes identify areas for improvement.
The scoring system includes a nursing home’s most recent state health inspections, quality measures and staffing levels. “We are very proud of our five-star nursing home rating”, said Tom Richter, CEO. “It really takes a group of dedicated, compassionate and knowledgeable individuals working together as a team to achieve a five-star rating. Having a medical clinic and hospital attached to the nursing home allows our staff to respond quickly to changing resident health conditions,” said Richter.
Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home is a 52-bed skilled nursing facility that provides 24-hour individualized resident care in a pleasant home-like environment. A variety of social programs and activities are offered to meet the interests and needs of our residents. These ratings from CMS are a reflection of our goal to provide the very best quality of care for our residents.
