10/02/2017

Oktoberfest is an annual event put on by the staff at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services to help fundraising efforts.  This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 14th 2017 which promises to be a great time for the whole family to enjoy.

There will be plenty of entertainment and food at the site: Indian tacos, hot dogs or chili dogs, chicken noodle soup, ice cream, chips, beverages, bake sale, craft sales, painted pumpkin sale, auction items, free blood sugar and pressure checks, and other activities from the hours of 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the Viborg Community Center.  The event will have entertainment by Kayla Nielsen beginning at 11:30.

The day of the event, there will be a 50/50 cash raffle drawing for $1 a ticket or an arm’s length for $20.00.  Other raffle tickets are being sold for $2 each or 3 for $5 to win a first prize Omaha Getaway featuring a one night stay at the Comfort Inn at the Zoo in Omaha, four Omaha Zoo tickets, and $50 cash.  A 2nd prize of $100 cash will also be awarded.

There will also be a chance to win the 1st prize of a Lund theater package or 2nd prize of $10 cash if you pick the right “lucky duck” that is numbered in the “floating pond”.        If you are unable to make it to the event, you still have opportunities to win prizes by purchasing raffle tickets for the Omaha getaway or $100 cash prize.

The winner does not need to be present for any of the prize package raffle drawings.  You can purchase raffle tickets from employees of Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, PMH business office or gift shop, and Centerville, Parker, & Viborg Medical Clinics.  All drawings are held at 1:30 PM on October 14th.  Bring out the whole family for a great time, great food, and great entertainment while helping support our fundraising efforts.
