Pioneer Memorial Hospital Announces Kristeen Kingsbury as January Employee of the Month.

01/15/2018

Kristeen Kingsbury has been named as the January Employee of the Month for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services.  Kristeen began her employment at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in July of 2010 as a Physical Therapist.  Since that time, she has been providing quality inpatient and outpatient physical therapy (PT) services in Viborg.  Kristeen is also responsible for providing outpatient PT services for our nursing home residents, the Centerville school district, and also occasionally helps with home health PT services.

Kristeen received her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from USD in Vermillion.  She lives with her husband Shane and their two children Levi (6) and Kianna (4).  When not working, Kristeen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, making crafts, and working out.

Those who nominated Kristeen described her as someone who brings the therapy department a vast amount of skill and knowledge.  She is always upbeat, happy, helpful, and kind.  She is always willing to give a little more to make things better.  One individual commented, “Kristeen is beautiful, committed, lovely, pleasant, a hard worker, willing to go the extra mile, and did I mention she is beautiful.”  While that nomination may have come from her husband Shane who also works at Pioneer Memorial Hospital, Kristeen’s dedication to her profession and her patients is definitely not biased.

When asked what she thought of the award Kristeen responded,” I feel blessed to work with the wonderful people here.  It is an honor to receive this sign of appreciation from my work family.”
