Groundbreaking ceremonies for our new pharmacy building took place May 5, 2010. Construction started May 10. Weather permitting, we hope for a fall opening.

The Centerville Community Pharmacy is a retail pharmacy located within the Centerville Medical Clinic building. Cody Carstensen, Pharm-D, is the pharmacy director. The Pharmacy is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. We accept most insurance prescription cards.

A pharmacy has been part of Centerville's downtown since 1883. At right is the architect's drawing of the exterior of the new pharmacy. It's interior will include:
- Additional over-the-counter medications, retail items, herbal selections, gifts and cards providing greater convenience for local and area shoppers
- Space for greater privacy to consult with the pharmacist on medication and prescription concerns
- Support for ongoing and future pharmaceutical needs of the Centerville Medical Clinic, Good Samaritan Nursing Home and Centerville community
- Space for community organizations and groups to meet.
- Economic benefits for the local community.
