Coronavirus Prevention: Pioneer Memorial is Restricting Visitors

Caring for our residents and patients is the top priority of Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services. At this time, we don’t have any cases of Coronavirus, and we want to take the appropriate steps to reduce the risk for our residents and patients. Pioneer Memorial is following the advice of the CDC & SD DOH to ensure the safety of all in our care. To best protect our residents & patients, Pioneer Memorial is restricting visitors at this time. Visitors are only allowed in rare circumstances where it is critical to the resident / patient & must be approved prior to entrance. We are also recommending residents not leave the facility for outings and visits other than necessary medical appointments. Thank you for your help in helping to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services continues to work diligently on this public health issue.
