The 2022 Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services Employee of the Year was presented to Maddie Manning. Maddie is a Registered Nurse / Charge Nurse in the Long-Term Care area and began employment at Pioneer Memorial in 2016. She is responsible for passing medications and treatments; assessing residents, and supervising CNA’s. She is also responsible for correlating with hospitals and clinics about mutual residents and patients.
Maddie has been a great employee and has been nominated employee of the month 2 times since she started with Pioneer Memorial. Maddie is known for being caring and friendly and has a wonderful personality. She is a very valuable employee and very dedicated to Pioneer Memorial. As described, “The residents and families love her, and she is always willing to help her fellow co-workers.”
Maddie lives in Viborg with her daughter, Leah, who will be 3 years old in July. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside, listening to music, enjoying time and doing activities with her daughter. In receiving this recognition, Maddie commented, “I am truly humbled to receive this award. I love what I do and love taking care of residents who become like family to me. I’ve also enjoyed all the co-workers who have become my great friends.”
