Billie Walker, Long-Term Care Secretary at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, has been named as the June Employee of the Month. Billie started working with Pioneer Memorial March 2015.
In Billie’s role, she is responsible for scanning records into residents’ charts, answering the phone, and transferring calls. She helps out with residents’ care and feeding.
Billie lives in Viborg. She obtained an Associate’s Degree for Medical Administrative Assistant. Those who nominated Billie for this award described her as always being friendly with residents and staff. She is very flexible with hours, and has been helping out as CNA during COVID.
When not working, Billie enjoys traveling and sightseeing new areas. She enjoys going to concerts and once in a while going to the casino for a few games!
When asked what she thought of the award Billie stated, “I appreciate it and it shows that your hard work and willingness to switch around does not go unnoticed.”
