Haylee Sherard, Long-Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant & Med Aid for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, has been named as the June Employee of the Month. Haylee started working with Pioneer Memorial in July 2020.
In Haylee’s role, she is responsible for taking care of residents. Typically working in the evening shift, she helps with supper medication and serving the meals. She also is in charge of passing the evening snack to residents and distributing their bedtime medication, along with the additional care needed at night.
Haylee lives in Hurley. Her family includes her husband Aaron, and they have 2 daughters – Hazel (4 years old) and Loretta (2 years old). In her spare time Haylee enjoys riding horse, hunting, fishing, driving old John Deere 2 cylinder tractor, and activities with the family.
Those who nominated Haylee said she is a very hard worker and is always positive. She is very reliable and dedicated to her job and has built great relationships with the residents. Haylee plans to become an LPN and continue working with Pioneer Memorial.
When asked what she thought of the award Haylee stated: “This is a great honor that my peers nominated me for this. I want to thank them all for the words of advice they have given me since I’ve worked here.”
