Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services is celebrating its 60th Anniversary in conjunction with Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 20th.
Citizens throughout Turner County and nearby communities are invited to a free meal hosted by Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Viborg Community Center.
The event will have entertainment by Kayla Nielsen beginning at 11:30 a.m., and Turkey Creek Revival Band beginning at 12:30 p.m. Activities will be held the entire duration of the event and will include a gift basket silent auction, and painted pumpkin sale.
The day of the event, there will be a 50/50 cash raffle drawing for $1 a ticket or an arm’s length for $20. Other raffle tickets are being sold for $5 each or 3 for $10 to win a first prize of ¼ beef from Dick’s Country Meats. A 2nd prize of $100 cash will also be awarded. The winner does not need to be present for the raffle drawings. You can purchase raffle tickets from employees of Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, PMH business office, or the day of the event. All drawings are held at 1:30 p.m. on October 20th. All proceeds for the event will be used towards the new dining room tables and chairs in the Nursing Home and Dementia Unit.
